It all started with a simple question: what if a space existed solely for Black women to feel safe? A sanctuary free from the weight of performance, productivity, and societal expectations.

I envisioned a place where Black women could simply exist—safe, affirmed, and deeply connected. As this vision blossomed, it became clear that many of us have been denied the inherent right to be soft, to be well, and to prioritize ourselves. 

BlackGirlsEmpowered (BGE) is a reclamation of our collective well-being. We are building a vibrant community network where our unique voices are honored, our lived experiences are validated, and our connections are limitless.
